How is the EDI professional development impacting you as an educator?

“The EDI has supported my growth and development as a teacher by providing me with resources and guidance that I can use in my classroom. It has given me an opportunity to see different ways that I can run my classroom and support my students and their families.  I can say that I have used some of the techniques that have been discussed within the program daily in my classroom that I was unaware of before. For example, aggressive monitoring. This has taught me to thoroughly monitor students as they are working and targeting the students that may need more attention and direction.  Overall, the EDI program has been very helpful in ensuring that educators receive the benefits they need to grow as an educator.”  

“As a neophyte teacher in New Paradigm for Education (NPFE), the EDI Program supported me in my growth and development as a teacher by providing helpful insights that would address and solve existing crucial situations in my language classroom. It serves as a fortress for me to keep on improving my teaching practices in different areas such as classroom management, assessment, parent relationship, students with accommodations, etc. During the third quarter parent-teacher conference, I used one script that was discussed in our training. It became useful to establish a positive relationship with the parents wherein the learnings and the guide that I got are organized. This allowed me to have a smooth and successful meeting with the parents. As an educator, the EDI program showcased bridges of learnings for me to keep on improving my profession for the quality education of the NPFE learners.
