MTTC

The Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) is the series of required exams for elementary-level and subject-area teacher certification in Michigan. The multiple-choice tests are designed to measure individual's knowledge and skills related to an established standard of performance, not in relation to other test takers. Leaders and academic advisors in certification programs help candidates prepare for the tests for the MTTC. The state recommends that candidates wait to take subject-area tests until individuals have completed at least 90% of the program coursework.

The following programs are available for MTTC testing under New Paradigm For Education’s EDI program for the 2024-2025 school year.
